When does the 2024-2025 NBA Season Start?



First Games

The 2024-2025 NBA Season is set to being on Tuesday October 22nd, with 2 games being played that day. The NY Knicks will play the Boston Celtics and the Lakers will play the Timberwolves. The remaining teams will open up the season over the course of the following 2 days.


End of Season

Each team will play 82 games and the season will come to a close on Sunday, April 13th. The playoffs will begin a couple of days later on Tuesday, April 15th.
