NCAA Tournament Championships by Seed
The table below shows the number of times each seed has won the Men's NCAA Tournament. This is then converted to a percentage by dividing the number of wins per seed by the total number of tournaments. Although the NCAA Tournament started in 1939, the NCAA did not start seeding teams until 1979. This table is up to date through the 2021 tournament and has a total of 42 tournament results.
